Choosing and buying domain names.
When i choose, create or buy domain name i consider: can i say domain name easyly? can i look once on domain name and remember it? and the how much does it cost.
Domains names are many times same as main product or service of web page, then domains are like: creditcards.com, bankaccounts.com weehlsforsixteenweehlers.com.
When domain is two word domain, then you can buy two domain with "-" sign and without. If you buy with '-' and promote your domain name them many people posibly will enter name without "-" (just words) and you would work for someone else then.
When using two domains with "-" and without then its easylier for customers to remember your domain name: just write "you can go to my-domain.com or mydomain.com" then peoply will have twice much time and possiblities to remember domain name.
Beware of: While registering domain names remember to check do you register on one year? does registrar writes semthing like: "this domain is for $1-when you buy our pc and car for $300,000" or familiar. (recently godaddy.com promoted domains for $3.99 but this time only with another service for 4$ or so, so combined cost is $7.99
Also check renewal fee, that means cost of second year of domain in same registrar.
About additional services: most of registrars offer cheap domain names and high prized other services. Better and cheaper solution is to find cheap webhosting with cpanel where all services are included and buy only domain.
